CONCESSIONS AND ACCOMMODATIONS

It consists of an assessment of the psychological and academical aspects of learning and academic skills that is needed for success in learning. A selected battery of scholastic, cognitive, behavioural, emotional, neurodevelopment, and personality tests are engaged to determine the factors supporting learning, as well as barriers to learning and development. A Psycho-Educational Assessment provides estimates of the client's intellectual/cognitive abilities and educational achievement levels. Such an assessment may have a focus on only one (or more) of the above mentioned areas.

The purpose is to determine if a learner qualifies for a concession/accommodation, and guiding parents in the process. Mr Engelbrecht has vast experience in the policy application and implementation of concessions & accommodations.
